Dolma are part of the Balkan cuisines and surrounding regions, such as Middle Eastern countries like Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia and also Central Asia. In Greek, they are known as yemista or gemista. In Tunisia, they are known as Filfil Mahshi.
